You've been asking for it after the success of the first edition. So here we are! Starting 2024 with a SWANA night in a new venue with a more intimate set up. We decided to downscale the event and to bring back the early LATEX vibes. 

That also means that spots will be very limited so don't snooze...

//DRESS CODE//

Latex is a kink event and we simply do not want people showing up with just jeans and a T-shirt.

The outfit is absolutely mandatory and if you don't feel comfortable around kink, nudity or BDSM practices LATEX might not be the appropriate event for you.

We strongly encourage kink wear // LATEX / PVC / LEATHER / CHAINS / LINGERIE etc...

//CONSENT//

When meeting someone new, please ask for their pronouns! It doesn't feel nice to be misgendered.

ASK FOR CONSENT! If not you will be asked to leave.

- Please make sure you approach the people you are interested in face to face, and not from the side or from behind.

- Look for an enthusiastic yes!

- Remember that people can change their minds or modify their consent at any time.

We will have designated people you can go to in case anything happens.

You are responsible for the attitude of the people you invite to our events and you can be held accountable for their misbehavior. Please choose wisely who you bring with you in order to keep LATEX a safe space for everyone.

//THE NO NO NO's//

Zero tolerance for verbal or physical harassment, racism, xenophobia, sexism, transphobia, homophobia etc.

NO photos/videos or cellphone use inside the venue. A designated professional photographer will be covering the event.

It is an open minded space to collect new memories for your wet dreams. Where you celebrate the magnificent free and sexy being you are.

// ACCESSIBILITY NOTES //

- Unfortunately Union Francaise is not wheelchair accessible

- Union Francaise is located at 429 Avenue Viger E, Montréal. The entrance to the building is street facing and up one flight of stairs. 

- The event will take place on two floors. 

- On the first floor you will find a the coat check; select vendors; a GRIP kiosk with volunteers and harm reduction supplies; one self-contained/all-gender washroom; and two rooms (each with a bar, DJ’s and performances). The main techno room and dungeon are to the back of the building, and a room featuring chiller music is to the left of the main entrance. Both rooms include some varied seating options. 

- The basement includes two multi-stall/ all-gender washrooms, as well as one small room with no music/ low stimulation and beanbag seating. Stairs to the basement are to the right of the main entrance near the coat check.

- Music will be loud. Free earplugs will be available at the GRIP Kiosk.

- There will be free water and glasses available near the bars, and bottled water available for purchase.

- The venue will include fog and strobe lighting. However, strobe lighting will be contained to the main techno room, with softer lighting in both the chill room and low stimulation room.

- Three dungeon monitors will be presented,  and dungeon guidelines/ etiquette will be posted throughout the space. Additional information about the dungeon will also be shared online closer to the event. Attendees can bring their own toys (with the exception of sharp objects).

- Kinky dress-code

- Attendees can leave to smoke/ get air outside the main entrance. People with a wrist band can come and go throughout the night. 

- Latex volunteers will be present, vibe- checking, and available to support attendees where needed.

If you infringe any of these rules, we will ask you to leave the dungeon and won’t be granted access back.
