Our Policy:
We created this privacy policy because protecting your personal information is of paramount importance to us. Please take the time to read this privacy policy. This document sets out our policy regarding the management of information, including personal information ("Personal Data") collected from visitors and users of ePasslive (including through the agents of these visitors and users) ("you" or "your"), including (a) registered users who organize and plan events ("Organizers"), (b) users who wish to purchase or acquire tickets or view event details (whether free or paid) posted by Organizers on the Services ("Buyers"), and (c) other users or visitors of the Services who do not organize events ("Non-Organizers").
For any questions regarding our privacy policy, do not hesitate to contact us at: [email protected].
CONSENT:
By using the services of ePasslive or by authorizing someone else to use the services on your behalf, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and storage, in accordance with this privacy policy, of the information and personal data collected.
Links to Our Privacy Policy:
We strive to provide a link to this privacy policy at the bottom of every page of our websites, including the pages where personal information is collected and at the bottom of emails generated and sent by ePasslive.
Information Collected:
When using or visiting our services, certain personal information mentioned below may be requested from you.
Buyers and Non-Organizers:
We may collect personal information if you voluntarily provide it on our services (including on purchase and payment pages of payment services (Moneris) when purchasing tickets on ePasslive). This information may be requested during your registration to access our services, during communications with us, when you complete surveys on our services, or when you use some of our services. Personal information collected may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, email address, postal code, and other information that can personally identify you. If you purchase tickets for a paid event, we will collect personal information about you, which may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address for ticket delivery, billing address, etc. If you voluntarily provide this information during the purchase of tickets, it will be accessible to us, and we will use it in accordance with what is described in this privacy policy.
When you make a transaction, some of your personal information (your name, first name, billing address, transaction number, identification numbers of purchased tickets, etc.) is transmitted to the organizers of the event for which you purchased tickets, in accordance with the provisions of the section "Disclosure of Information We Collect: Organizers" below. With this information, the organizer can identify you and associate you with the corresponding transaction, for example, in case of a refund request or ticket loss. To facilitate transaction lookup and communication, your email address will be shared with the event organizer.
Organizers:
Payments via Moneris: For transactions made via ePasslive, we use the Moneris service to handle secure payments. The payment information you provide will be processed and stored by Moneris in accordance with their privacy policy. Please refer to the Moneris privacy policy for more details on how your financial information is managed.
We may collect personal information if you voluntarily provide it on our services. This information may be requested when you register as an organizer, during communications with us, when you complete surveys on our services, or when you use some of our services. Personal information collected may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, email address, phone number, and other information that can personally identify you. In some cases, we may collect your credit card information, which may constitute personal information, to ensure the security of certain payments.
This information, provided voluntarily, is divided into two categories:
- "Profile Information" is public information that will be displayed on your profile on ePasslive.com. This information includes, but is not limited to, what you provide when creating your profile: your venue/artist/producer name, description, custom URL, venue capacity, venue address, profile picture, banner, social links, and your public event list.
- "Account Information" is private information that will never be disclosed publicly. It is used solely by the ePasslive team for the internal administration of the service and the transfer of ticket sales revenue. For more details, refer to the section "Use of Information We Collect."
Certain financial information (credit card number, expiration date, etc.) may be collected or stored by ePasslive in order to offer paid services on the site. For more details about payment services, we invite you to review the Moneris privacy policy.
Non-Identifiable Information:
When you use our services, we may collect certain information that does not specifically identify an individual ("Non-Personal Information"). This Non-Personal Information we collect includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses (Internet Protocol), Internet browser types, other characteristics of your device and software, domain names of your Internet service provider, your approximate geographic location, your usage traces of our services, your time of use, and some aggregated personal information that cannot be used to identify you personally. Collected through various technologies, this information is insufficient to personally identify you.
Aggregated Personal Information:
In our ongoing efforts to better understand and serve the users of our services, we regularly conduct research on the demographics, interests, and behaviors of our customers based on personal information and other data collected. The results of this research may be compiled and analyzed into aggregated databases, and such aggregated data cannot personally identify you, and are thus treated as non-personal information under this privacy policy.

Disclosure of Information We Collect:
In our view, your personal information holds no commercial interest. Instead, this information is a crucial part of our relationship with you. Therefore, we will never sell your information to third parties, including advertisers. However, certain situations may require us to share your information with third parties without notice, as mentioned below:
- Organizers: You agree to share certain of your personal information with organizers when you purchase tickets for their events. They are not required to process your information according to the terms of this privacy policy. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for how organizers handle your personal information. If you wish to learn more about an organizer's privacy policy, we encourage you to contact them before purchasing your tickets.
- Business Transactions: As our business evolves, we may be involved in buying or selling assets. In such cases, your personal information may be part of the transaction. You acknowledge and agree that any successor or acquiring party to the business (or its assets) will have the right to continue using your personal information and other data in accordance with this privacy policy.
- Affiliates and Related Companies: We may share your personal information with our affiliates or related companies, in accordance with this privacy policy. Our affiliates and related companies will be required to use your personal information according to the terms included in this privacy policy.
- Agents, Consultants, and Related Third Parties: As our business evolves, we may hire other companies to perform certain specific tasks, such as but not limited to managing and processing payments, sending information, or managing data. In such situations, we may provide this third party with certain information, including personal information. These third parties will then be required to use your personal information according to the terms included in this privacy policy.
- Facebook and Other Third-Party Connections: If you are an organizer, you may connect your ePasslive account to your other service accounts, such as Facebook. We may then collect and use certain information related to your other accounts, according to the terms included in this privacy policy.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, we may disclose your personal information (including but not limited to complying with a subpoena or request from a law enforcement entity, court, or government agency), or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect or defend our rights, interests, or property or those of third parties, (iii) prevent, investigate, or identify any potential fraudulent activity in connection with our services, (iv) act under urgent circumstances to protect the safety of individual users of our services or the public, or (v) protect ourselves against legal liability.
Since non-personal information does not specifically identify an individual, we may use such information for legitimate purposes.
Your Options:
You have several options regarding the disclosure of personal information:
- Limit the personal information provided: You can use our services without providing all of the requested personal information. However, some functions of our services may not be available to you.
- Unsubscribe: You may need to unsubscribe from several types of messages before completely ceasing to receive emails, as different communications related to each specific situation may be sent to you.
- Promotional Emails: You have the option to stop receiving promotional emails from ePasslive by clicking on "unsubscribe" at the bottom of these emails. However, this option does not apply to automatically generated messages from ePasslive in the case of significant changes to an event for which you purchased tickets (cancellation, time changes, venue changes, etc.).
When purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive email alerts regarding the event in question until the event takes place. You also agree to receive your tickets by email at the address you voluntarily provided at the time of purchase.
We advise against unsubscribing from email alerts for events you purchased tickets for, as the information contained in these messages is essential for attendees. However, if you wish to unsubscribe, please contact us at: [email protected].
When you registered as an organizer, you voluntarily provided an email address. We will use this address to send you important information regarding your account and profiles. While using the service, some actions will trigger automatic emails, including but not limited to: posting and editing an event, event cancellation, ticket category sold out, adding your profile to a third-party organized event (if you have an artist or venue profile), an event you organize happening in less than 48 hours, being named as an administrator or promoter of a profile, receiving a ticket report after your event ends, changes to your account information (including financial information).
ePasslive may contact you via email to an address provided by another service user even if you do not have an account on ePasslive. These cases are specifically:
- If an organizer claims that an event is taking place at a venue you represent and provides your email as the primary contact for that venue, when the address is not associated with an ePasslive account.
- If an organizer claims that you or an artist you represent will be performing at an event and provides your email as the primary contact, when the address is not associated with an ePasslive account.
- If an administrator of a profile on ePasslive names you as an administrator or promoter of that profile and provides your email, when the address is not associated with an ePasslive account.
In these specific cases, your email address is not added to any mailing list, and the message sent is a one-time communication, making it unnecessary to unsubscribe.
If you wish to stop all communications from our services, we recommend using the filters provided by your email service or contacting us at: [email protected].
If you choose to stop all communications from ePasslive, you will no longer receive any information about your account or events for which you purchased tickets, including communications regarding refunds. We advise against completely cutting off communication with ePasslive unless you no longer wish to use our services. In accordance with this privacy policy, we will retain your personal and non-personal data, even after you unsubscribe from all communications. However, this information will no longer be used to contact you. It should be noted that, as described in this privacy policy, organizers who hold your personal information may still use it to contact you based on their own privacy policies. However, they will no longer be able to do so via ePasslive.
